Good options. I settled on a small platr of falafel and hummus. The falafel balls are on the well done side: excellent crunch factor with Jiffy corn muffin texture inside. Crunchy, nutty with a hint of bitterness. The hot sauce, although not very hot, is fire! Tasty. The hummus came with warm pita and is topped with some garlic based condiment and a good drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. It too had a hint of bitterness, which adds to its flavor profile. If I were to order falafel balls again, I would ask if they can reduce cooking time a bit.

We chose this place because of the great Google reviews, photos, menu options, and especially because it’s located in the city center and offers halal choices. The interior is lovely and has a charming, authentic design. The food was even more delicious than we expected! Service and quality were excellent — everything truly deserves a full score from us. Also, the fact that such delicious meals were offered at very reasonable prices was a big plus! Being right in the city center also made it an easy choice. A cozy and enjoyable place — thank you so much!

I originally stopped by hoping to order something from their breakfast menu, but it turns out they no longer serve breakfast. That said, I decided to try their charcoal latte, something I hadn’t had before and I was pleasantly surprised. It was unique, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The latte art was especially impressive and added a thoughtful touch to the experience. Beyond the drink, I really appreciated the warm, cozy atmosphere of the space. It has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your time. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. While I didn’t get the breakfast I originally came for, I ended up discovering something new that I truly enjoyed. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu and soak in the ambiance again.

I’ve been to their other location a couple of years ago and had the opportunity to try out this one. Both are *chef’s kiss* the food is high quality, SUPER tasty, and plenty for sharing or to-go. I was thoroughly impressed with how good the food was as well as how cute & clean the interior was maintained. Their desserts looked super delicious and the one we got (tiramisu milk cake) was super yummy. We also got some specialty lattes after, but my friend and I weren’t impressed with those. I will definitely be coming back here again for their food & dessert!! The service was also great and everyone was super nice.

Hidden Gem Alert! Beautifully decorated restaurant with amazing flavorful food. Price is very reasonably. Falafel has an amazing crunch with great interior seasonings. The mixed grill plate will absolutely be my go-to choice when I go back there. They give you a side salad, hummus, & bread. I did try the pistachio latte & unfortunately wasn't my favorite but will definitely try something else next time since they have a lot of other beverage options.

I had a wonderful experience at Sinya. The food was delicious, and the make the best lattes, smooth, rich and perfectly balanced. The design of the place is absolutely stunning, with a cozy atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. Everything from the decor to the service was top-notch. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and amazing coffee at the river north location.
